Detective
Cases built backwards from the reveal, so every panel hides a clue the second read makes obvious.
Talescapes is a working studio of writers, artists, colorists and letterers. We build original comics from the first line of script to the last balloon — detective, romance, drama, adventure.
We started as a handful of artists swapping pages in a group chat and turned into a studio with a full production line. Everyone here does one job properly instead of five jobs halfway: a writer who only writes, an inker who only inks, a letterer who cares about balloon tails.
That means a script doesn't sit in a queue behind someone's freelance backlog, and a series keeps the same hands on it from issue one to the finale. We work in series, not one-offs — characters that come back, arcs that pay off, endings we planned before we drew page one.
Publishers, platforms and studios come to us for original IP and work-for-hire alike. Bring a logline, a script, or a whole universe — we'll tell you honestly which part we'd change.
Print-ready pages, layered source files, character sheets and a style bible — so the book stays consistent long after we close the file.
Each genre has its own crew, its own reference shelf and its own rules about what a page is allowed to do.

Slow burns with real obstacles. We spend the page count on the silences, not the confessions.
Character work that earns its quiet pages. Heavy blacks, tight crops, nobody leaves unchanged.
Wide shots, momentum, maps that matter. Built for serials where every issue ends on a drop.
Five hands touch every page. You see it at each stage and can stop us before the expensive part.
Beats, page count and panel breakdown. Agreed before anyone draws.
Rough layouts to test the read before the linework exists.
Final line weight, blacks and textures. The look locks in here.
Flats, light and a palette that tracks the emotional temperature.
Balloons, sound effects and the pacing of the dialogue on the page.
Tell us the premise, the format and roughly when you need it. We answer within two working days — with a page estimate and an honest read on whether it's a fit.
